Job summary

Agiliti is seeking a Laser Technician I in our NY/NJ hub to support surgical procedures at hospitals and healthcare facilities. The role involves testing, cleaning, and sterilizing equipment prior to procedures, and remaining present in the operating room as required by the physician.

You will also transport and track equipment to ensure readiness at the point of care. Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, with preferred experience in medical, EMT, Surgical Technologist, or

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior medical, EMT, Surgical Technologist, or military experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Tests, cleans, and sterilizes equipment in operating room prior to procedures.
• Present in operating room during procedures; level of involvement in procedure is subject to physician demands.
• Removes, cleans, disinfects, and sterilizes all surgical equipment after procedures.
• Ensures operational excellence of all vehicles and equipment by communicating defects or necessary maintenance to key stakeholders in a timely manner.
• Transports equipment to ensure that it is in the right place at the right time for necessary procedures.
