Job summary

Agiliti Health, Inc. is hiring a Laser Technician I to maintain and sterilize surgical equipment and support operating room procedures at the Jacksonville FL location.

The role requires handling equipment safely, ensuring readiness before, during, and after surgeries, and coordinating with clinical staff. The position emphasizes lifting capabilities, driving responsibilities, and sustained physical activity to support timely patient care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior medical/EMT/Surgical Technologist/military experience preferred.
• Must hold a current, valid, unrestricted driver's license with a safe driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and push/pull up to 100 lbs.
• Ability to stand or sit for long periods and to bend/reach repeatedly.
• Ability to bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch/squat, kneel/crawl, sit and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Test, clean, and sterilize equipment in the operating room before procedures.
• Present in the operating room during procedures as required by the physician.
• Remove, clean, disinfect, and sterilize all surgical equipment after procedures.
• Communicate defects or maintenance needs to key stakeholders to ensure operational excellence of vehicles and equipment.
• Transport equipment to the right place at the right time for procedures.
