Job summary

Agiliti in Idaho is seeking a Laser Technician I to ensure operating room equipment is clean, sterilized and ready for use, supporting patient care across our hospital partners. You will test, clean, disinfect, and transport surgical instruments and devices, and be present in procedures as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Prior medical, EMT, Surgical Technologist, or military experience preferred.
• Must hold a current, valid, and unrestricted driver's license.
• Must be able to lift up to eighty pounds and push or pull up to one hundred pounds.
• Must be able to stand and/or sit for long periods of time and be able to bend and reach repeatedly.
• Be able to frequently bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch/squat, kneel/crawl, sit, and stand for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Tests, cleans, and sterilizes equipment in operating room prior to procedures.
• Present in operating room during procedures; level of involvement in procedure is subject to physician demands.
• Removes, cleans, disinfects, and sterilizes all surgical equipment after procedures.
• Ensures operational excellence of all vehicles and equipment by communicating defects or necessary maintenance to key stakeholders in a timely manner.
• Transports equipment to ensure that it is in the right place at the right time for necessary procedures.
