Job summary

Agiliti in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Laser Technician I to maintain and sterilize surgical equipment and support in operating rooms before, during, and after procedures.

You will work with physicians and staff, ensure equipment readiness, and participate in maintaining safety standards and a strong patient-care focus. A high school diploma and prior medical or military experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Prior medical, EMT, Surgical Technologist, or military experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Tests, cleans, and sterilizes equipment in operating room prior to procedures.
• Present in operating room during procedures; involvement level depends on physician needs.
• Removes, cleans, disinfects, and sterilizes all surgical equipment after procedures.
• Ensures operational excellence of all vehicles and equipment by communicating defects or maintenance needs to stakeholders.
• Transports equipment to ensure it is in the right place at the right time for procedures.
