Job summary

DCH Health System is seeking a detail-oriented inventory and procurement associate to manage CSP/OR supplies, documentation, and distribution. You will coordinate with staff and management on procurement, maintain records, and assist with budget-related tasks to align with system standards.

Responsibilities include monitoring stock levels, processing orders, and ensuring accurate deliveries while pursuing cost savings through supplier choices and process improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred and knowledge of medical terminology.
• A good work and attendance record is required.
• Keyboard experience and basic computer skills are required.
• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider training is required.
• Must be able to take call, work weekends and holidays, and flexible hours.
• Ability to read, write legibly, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Monitors inventory and availability of routine and special order supplies.
• Responsible for direct billing of implants.
• Expedites, follows up, and reconciles order and invoice discrepancies with vendors and departments.
• Ensures items received are delivered to the appropriate person.
• Develops and maintains relationships with internal departments and suppliers.
• Creates purchase orders for stock and non-stock items and repairs.
• Pursues price reductions and cost containment via vendor selection and process improvement.
