Job summary

Providence Swedish is seeking an Inventory Control professional to maintain inventory accuracy for surgical and interventional supplies in the Seattle area. You will work closely with the MSC Supervisor, Specialty Charge RNs, and clinicians to manage par levels and bin locations for both new and existing supplies.

Responsibilities include analyzing supply trends, supporting cost containment and product standardization, optimizing space, and managing data.

Qualifications

• 4 years of inventory control, materials management in a computerized environment.
• Experience in computers and computer related functions including experience in materials management inventory software programs and handheld devices.
• Experience in materials management concepts and operations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory controls for surgical and interventional supplies and materials.
• Collaborate with MSC Supervisor, Specialty Charge RNs, and clinicians to adjust par levels and bin locations for new and existing supplies.
• Coordinate materials activities to meet clinicians' ongoing needs in a procedural area.
• Analyze supply trends and workflows to facilitate product changes to meet changes in demand.
• Support cost containment, product standardization, inventory control practices, space utilization, and data management.
• Work with MSC Supervisor to implement and evaluate new products approved through the Value Analysis process.
