Job summary

Providence Swedish is seeking a Material Handler to manage inventory and ensure timely distribution of supplies within the Seattle campus. You will use the MM System to enter data, generate pick tickets and accurately pick items for delivery to patient care and ancillary areas.

Responsibilities include stocking from the warehouse, rotating stock by FIFO or earliest expiration, and maintaining par levels where dates are not printed. Healthcare experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year of recent experience in a supply chain environment using a computerized Materials Management Information System.
• Experience picking items from pick tickets and stocking materials.

Responsibilities

• Conducts physical inventory of supply areas and enters data in MM System.
• Generates pick tickets and accurately picks listed items.
• Delivers and stocks materials to patient care and ancillary areas.
• Rotates stock using FIFO and earliest expiration date rules.
• Maintains par levels when items lack printed expiration dates.
