Job summary

Providence Swedish is seeking an Inventory Clerk to manage stock using a computerized MMIS, perform inventories, replenishment, receiving, and stocking across the Materials Service Center with high accuracy. You will process fax, phone and electronic requests, and coordinate deliveries and shipments.

This role supports patient care operations in a not-for-profit health system, working with hospital departments to ensure timely availability of supplies and equipment.

Qualifications

• 1 year of inventory systems, receiving, warehousing and/or supply distribution using a computerized MMIS in a perpetual inventory system within the previous three years
• Coursework/Training: Inventory and supply distribution management courses
• Experience in a healthcare environment
• Experience with material handling equipment (hand trucks, pallet jack, etc)

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical inventories and replenish supply areas for patient care and ancillary areas
• Receive incoming stock and non-stock freight, and stock items in the MSC
• Enter data into MMIS to inventory, pick, deliver and stock products
• Deliver stock and non-stock items and coordinate outgoing parcel shipments
