Job summary

Providence Swedish is seeking a materials clerk to support inventory control and distribution at Swedish First Hill in Seattle. You will perform physical inventories, enter data in the MM System, and generate pick tickets to ensure timely stocking and delivery of supplies across patient care areas.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of supply chain experience in a healthcare environment, with familiarity with material handling equipment and forklift certification upon hire.

Qualifications

• 1 year of recent experience in a Supply Chain environment using a computerized Materials Management Information System.
• Forklift certification upon hire.
• Experience in a healthcare environment.
• Experience with material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Conducts physical inventory of supply areas and uses the MM System to enter data and generate pick tickets.
• Accurately picks items listed on pick tickets and delivers/ stocks materials to various supply areas.
• Rotates stock on a first-in/first-out basis for items without expiration dates, and earliest-expiration-first-out for dated items.
• Supports the Providence Swedish supply chain operations at Swedish First Hill and related facilities.
