Job summary

Samaritan Healthcare in Moses Lake, WA, is looking for a Surgical Inventory Control Specialist II to manage supplies, implants, and instruments for Surgical Services. You will work with OR staff, Sterile Processing, and vendors to maintain accurate inventory and support cost containment.

The role requires attention to detail and knowledge of surgical workflows, with the ability to anticipate case needs. Monday–Friday, 6:30am–3:00pm on-site.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• CRST certification or ability to obtain within 2 years.
• Experience with inventory of materials and asset management.
• Knowledge of EPIC inventory charges.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory of surgical supplies, implants, equipment, and other inventory.
• Establish par levels based on procedure volume and clinical needs.
• Perform routine cycle counts and audits.
• Identify shortages and communicate with staff and surgeons.
• Coordinate with SPD for instrument availability.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of supplies.
• Monitor costs and identify opportunities for standardization.
