Job summary

Providence Swedish Medical Center is seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to maintain and optimize par levels and bin locations for surgical and interventional supplies. You will work with the MSC Supervisor to align inventory with clinician needs and participate in value analysis processes to drive standardization and cost containment.

The role requires experience in materials management concepts and a background with computerized inventory systems.

Qualifications

4 years of inventory control, materials management in a computerized environment.
Experience in computers and computer related functions including experience in materials management inventory software programs and handheld devices.
Experience in materials management concepts and operations.

Responsibilities

Maintain inventory controls for surgical and interventional supplies and materials.
Coordinate materials activities to meet ongoing needs of clinicians in a procedural/interventional area.
Analyze supply trends and workflows to facilitate product changes to meet changes in demand.
Facilitate cost containment, product standardization, and inventory control practices.
