Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Inventory/Materials Coordinator to support surgical and procedural services at The Brigham and Women’s Hospital. You will coordinate implant, tissue, instrumentation, and specialty product requests to ensure case readiness and continuity of patient care.

Qualifications

• Experience in materials management, inventory control, or procurement is required (2-3 years).
• Implant/Tissue Management experience preferred (2-3 years).
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate implant, tissue, instrumentation, and specialty product requests to support surgical case readiness.
• Collaborate with clinical staff, vendors, sterile processing, and supply chain partners to ensure timely delivery and replenishment of products.
• Initiate and track requisitions for implants and supplies to ensure inventory availability and procedural readiness.
• Maintain assigned inventory locations with organization, labeling, and accuracy.
• Monitor inventory levels and par levels; escalate shortages or waste concerns.
• Investigate and resolve product or supply issues affecting scheduled cases.
• Communicate back orders, substitutions, and delivery delays affecting surgical services.
• Support inventory tracking and reconciliation using inventory management systems and RFID tools.
