Job summary

Mass General Brigham across a surgical services environment seeks a Materials Management professional to coordinate implant, tissue, instrumentation, and specialty product activities for case readiness. You will liaise with clinical teams, vendors, sterile processing, and supply chain to ensure product availability and procedural continuity.

Role requires 2–3 years in materials management or similar, high attention to detail, and strong collaboration with cross-functional teams in a onsite

• Knowledge of inventory control practices, par levels and supply chain workflows.
• Ability to collaborate with clinical staff, vendors and interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate implant, tissue, instrumentation, and specialty product requests for case readiness.
• Collaborate with clinical staff, vendors, sterile processing, and supply chain for timely delivery and replenishment.
• Initiate and track requisitions for implants, tissues, instrumentation, and supplies.
• Maintain assigned inventory locations with organization and accuracy.
• Monitor inventory levels, par levels, and usage; escalate issues to prevent shortages or waste.
• Investigate and resolve product and supply availability issues affecting procedures.
• Coordinate communication on back orders, substitutions, and delays.
• Support inventory tracking and reconciliation using inventory systems and RFID.
• Serve as a resource on specialty products and procedural readiness.
• Participate in initiatives to optimize inventory and workflow efficiency.
