Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN required within 5 years.
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in Virginia with AHA BLS.
• 1 year of relevant experience in surgical/trauma care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-acuity nursing care to surgical and trauma patients.
• Maintain a 1:3 nurse-to-patient ratio.
• Monitor high-risk medications and conscious sedation.
• Collaborate with physicians, APPs, therapists, and other disciplines to coordinate care plans.
• Engage in rapid response and clinical decision-making.
• Educate patients and families throughout the care journey.
