Job summary

UVA Health in Charlottesville, VA seeks Registered Nurses for its Critical Care & Specialty Care Nursing Pipeline across MICU, STICU, SIMU, CCU, and other inpatient units. You will be part of an interdisciplinary team delivering evidence-based, high-acuity care and advancing patient outcomes in a dynamic academic medical center.

Responsibilities include assessing patient plans, monitoring changes, coordinating care with physicians and allied health staff, and contributing to quality improvement

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
BSN required within 5 years of hire.
Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Virginia with BLS certification.

Responsibilities

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
Monitor complex patient conditions and respond to changes in status.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care across the continuum.
Utilize advanced technology and clinical resources to support high-quality outcomes.
Educate patients and families and advocate throughout the care journey.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and professional development.
