UTMB Health is seeking a Nurse Clinician III (RN) for the Surgery (Inpatient Unit) on the Day shift. The role requires an active Texas RN license and current BLS certification; general nursing practice aligned with UTMB policies is expected.

The position emphasizes patient-centered care, leadership within the interdisciplinary team, and the ability to handle emergencies typical to the unit while maintaining documentation quality and adherence to standards.

Formación

• RN licensed to practice in Texas.
• Basic Life Support certification required.
• Competent professional nursing practice per Texas Nurse Practice Act.

Responsabilidades

• Assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and documents daily patient care.
• Identifies nursing diagnoses and individualizes care plans.
• Administers medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Delivers culturally congruent and specialty-appropriate nursing care.
