Job summary

Tennessee Oncology is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a multi-specialty surgical practice. The APP will support the continuum of care from initial consultation through post-operative management in an inpatient hospital setting.

The APP acts as a clinical leader, promotes evidence-based practice, ensures regulatory compliance, and contributes to quality, safety, and patient satisfaction goals.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of clinical assessment, diagnosis, and perioperative care.
• BLS required; ACLS optional; licensure and national certification required.
• Master's degree or higher in NP/PA program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in pre-operative evaluations and risk assessments.
• Provide patient education on procedures, plans, and recovery.
• Serve as patient navigator through surgical pathways.
• Collaborate with surgeons, nursing, and case management for discharge planning.
• Order and review tests and imaging; adjust care plans accordingly.
