Job summary

The Surgical Clinic (TSC), Middle Tennessee’s premier multi-specialty surgical practice, is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider. The APP will work with surgeons and clinical staff to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in both outpatient and inpatient settings, supporting the continuum of care from initial consultation through post-operative management.

Qualifications

• Requires master’s degree or higher from an accredited NP/PA program.
• Active state licensure and national board certification (ANCC/AANP or NCCPA) required.
• BLS required; ACLS optional; strong surgical and perioperative knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct new patient evaluations and post-operative assessments in clinic.
• Perform inpatient rounding and hospital consultations with travel as needed.
• Assist in pre-operative evaluations, perioperative optimization, and discharge coordination.
• Prescribe medications and manage ongoing treatment with supervising physicians.
• Mentor nursing or PA students and participate in clinical research.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and accurate documentation in EMR.
