Job summary

Tennessee Oncology is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to deliver high-quality oncology care across settings. The APP will assess, diagnose, and manage cancer patients, participate in clinical trials, and work with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.

Responsibilities include patient evaluation, treatment planning, prescribing medications per protocol, and providing education to patients, families, and staff.

Qualifications

• License to practice as RN or PA in the state (Tennessee).
• Master’s degree in nursing or physician assistant certification required.
• National certification as APP (ANCC/AANP) required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical and psychosocial status.
• Perform comprehensive histories and exams.
• Order and interpret lab/diagnostic tests.
• Assist in clinical trials and research protocols.
• Provide education to patients and families about treatment plans.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team.
