Job summary

Health First is seeking an experienced Surgical First Assist to support current and new surgeons as they continue to grow their practices. This shift-based role offers flexibility with numerous days available each month and requires a commitment to at least 12 shifts per month.

The ideal candidate will have strong Operating Room experience and be comfortable supporting a variety of surgical procedures across General Surgery, Bariatrics, Orthopedics, Gynecology, OB/GYN, Colorectal, and Trauma

Qualifications

• Certified Surgical First Assist
• Robotics certification required
• Previous Operating Room experience required
• Ability to work across multiple hospital locations
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with surgeons and surgical teams

Responsibilities

• Support current and new surgeons during procedures
• Commit to at least 12 shifts per month
• Travel between multiple hospital locations as needed
• Assist with a variety of surgical procedures and teams
