Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking a Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) for a 13-week contract in our surgical services team. The role involves 10-hour day shifts (07:00–16:00) and rotating call duty, Monday through Friday, with one day off rotating.

Must-have includes vein harvesting for CABG, experience with on/off pump CABG, VATs and valve replacements, and scrubbing across orthopedics, neurology, gynecology, general surgery, ENT, vascular, urology and robotics.

Qualifications

• Vein harvesting for CABG procedures is required.
• Experience assisting in on/off pump CABG, VATS, and valve replacements is required.
• Experience scrubbing across multiple surgical specialties (orthopedics, neurology, gynecology, general surgery, ENT, vascular, urology, robotics) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work 10-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday with one rotating day off.
• Call duty is required, including one rotating call day per week.
• Assist in vein harvesting for CABG procedures and in on/off pump CABG, VATs, and valve replacements.
• Scrub in orthopedic, neurologic, gynecologic, general, ENT, vascular, urology and robotics procedures.
• Maintain aseptic technique and operate associated surgical equipment.
