A-Line Staffing Solutions seeks a Surgical Technologist First Assist to support a busy Operating Room team in Grand Rapids, MI. This role involves intraoperative assistance and strict sterile technique in a fast-paced OR.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in Surgical Services, CST and CSFA certifications, BLS, and completion of a recognized STFA course, enabling effective collaboration with surgeons and OR staff.

Formación

• 3+ years recent experience in Surgical Services / Operating Room.
• CST and CSFA certifications required.
• BLS certification required.
• STFA course completion required.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the surgeon intraoperatively (patient positioning, skin prep, wound exposure, tissue handling, hemostasis support, instrument handling, and wound closure support).
• Maintain sterile field and support safe, efficient surgical case flow.
• Monitor patient needs during the perioperative process and support continuity of care with the OR team.
• Document patient care accurately and follow safety and privacy standards.
• Communicate clearly with clinical team members to support optimal patient outcomes.

Conocimientos

Surgical OR experience

Educación

CST certification (AST/NBSTSA/ABSA accepted)

CSFA certification (NBSTSA accepted)

Surgical First Assist (STFA) course completion

BLS certification (AHA/Red Cross)
