Responsibilities

• Assist the surgeon intraoperatively (patient positioning, skin prep, wound exposure, tissue handling, hemostasis support, instrument handling, and wound closure support).
• Maintain sterile field and support safe, efficient surgical case flow.
• Monitor patient needs during the perioperative process and support continuity of care with the OR team.
• Document patient care accurately and follow safety and privacy standards.
• Communicate clearly with clinical team members to support optimal patient outcomes.
