Job Description

A Surgery team is seeking a dedicated Certified Surgical Tech First Assist (CSTFA). The role of the Surgical Technician is vital in the peri-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative phases of patient care. This position emphasizes providing personalized, high-quality care, relying on expertise, proficiency, and interpersonal skills. Duties encompass maintaining the sterile field, peer education, efficient resource management, inventory maintenance, and ensuring compliance with standards to deliver coordinated care in the surgical environment.

Qualifications
  • Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program or related curriculum.
  • Preferred: One year of experience in a multidisciplinary OR or acute care hospital setting.
  • Mandatory certifications: Current BLS certification and National Association of Surgical Technologists certification.
