Job summary

Shared Practices Group is seeking a Surgical Dental Assistant with 1–2 years of experience to play a pivotal role in establishing and organizing the back office and ensuring sterile room readiness for complex procedures.

You will support the doctor and dental lab operations, manage charts, and collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to deliver exceptional patient care daily.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of basic dental terminology.
• Experience with inventory management and ordering supplies.
• Knowledge of implant procedures (All-on-4 and overdentures).
• Proficient in taking CBCT and panoramic X-ray images.

Responsibilities

• Assist the doctor chairside during surgical and dental procedures.
• Set up and break down operatory equipment and chart accurately.
• Maintain sterile rooms and infection control protocols.
• Educate patients on procedures and post-operative care.
• Monitor inventory and support front desk staff as needed.
