Qualifications

• Basic CPR certification required.
• Oral and Maxillofacial Assisting/Dental Assistant certification preferred.
• Ability to follow safety guidelines and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Surgical Support: Assist the doctor during surgeries, seat patients, and take vitals.
• Patient Care Expert: Provide pre-operative and post-operative instructions and obtain necessary clearances.
• Compliance and Safety Adherence: Follow OSHA guidelines and ensure safe imaging and exposure techniques.
• Record Keeping and Documentation: Maintain accurate records/charting per standards.
• Equipment and Instrument Maintenance: Prepare and maintain clinical equipment for procedures.
• Interpersonal Relations: Maintain rapport with patients, doctors, and team members.
• Confidentiality and Professionalism: Protect patient and clinic information.
• Patient Experience Enhancement: Ensure patient comfort and satisfaction throughout visits.
