Oral Surgery of the Rockies is seeking a Surgical Technician to support the surgeon during consultations and procedures, improve patient satisfaction, and boost clinic efficiency. You will provide thorough pre-operative and post-operative care, ensure accurate documentation, and help maintain high standards of safety and care.

The role emphasizes patient communication, teamwork with doctors and staff, and flexibility to handle varied tasks in a fast-paced surgical setting.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is required for safety and emergency readiness.
• Dental assistant certification is preferred to support clinical tasks.
• Hepatitis B and TB vaccinations remain up to date per clinic policy.

Responsibilities

• Surgical Support: Assist doctor during surgeries, seat patients, and take vitals.
• Patient Care Expert: Provide pre- and post-operative instructions and obtain clearances.
• Compliance and Safety Adherence: Follow OSHA and radiation safety guidelines.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
• Equipment Maintenance: Prepare and maintain instruments and equipment.
• Interpersonal Relations: Maintain rapport with patients, doctors, and staff.
• Confidentiality and Professionalism: Protect patient and clinic information.
• Patient Experience: Ensure comfort and satisfaction throughout visits.
• Adaptability: Take on special projects and varied duties as needed.
