Job summary

The Dental Boutique Westchase is seeking an experienced surgical dental assistant to join our private practice in Tampa, FL. You will master chair-side surgical assisting for implant and restorative procedures while delivering an exceptional patient experience.

Ideal candidate has 3+ years of dental assisting with a surgical focus, Invisalign experience, iTero scanning, and familiarity with Open Dental. We offer strong base pay, benefits, and monthly bonus opportunities in a culture that values

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of dental assisting experience with a surgical focus.
• Strong Invisalign experience including attachments, refinements, and case management.
• Hands-on experience assisting with implant placement and implant-related procedures.
• Experience with iTero Scanner strongly preferred.
• Prior knowledge of Open Dental software is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Mastery in chair-side surgical assisting for implant and restorative procedures.
• Efficiency in making temporary crowns, taking iTero scans, and managing Invisalign cases.
• Comfortable discussing financials, treatment plans, and payment options with patients.
• Impeccable organization for inventory control and instrument management.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to put patients at ease in a surgical setting.
• A willingness to be flexible and accommodating with your schedule, including understanding that patient care occasionally runs past scheduled close.
