Job summary

The Dental Boutique Westchase is seeking an experienced surgical dental assistant to join our private practice in Tampa, FL. You will master chair-side surgical assisting for implant and restorative procedures while delivering an exceptional patient experience.

Ideal candidate has 3+ years of dental assisting with a surgical focus, Invisalign experience, iTero scanning, and familiarity with Open Dental. We offer strong base pay, benefits, and monthly bonus opportunities in a culture that values

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of dental assisting experience with a surgical focus.
Strong Invisalign experience including attachments, refinements, and case management.
Hands-on experience assisting with implant placement and implant-related procedures.
Experience with iTero Scanner strongly preferred.
Prior knowledge of Open Dental software is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

Mastery in chair-side surgical assisting for implant and restorative procedures.
Efficiency in making temporary crowns, taking iTero scans, and managing Invisalign cases.
Comfortable discussing financials, treatment plans, and payment options with patients.
Impeccable organization for inventory control and instrument management.
Excellent communication skills and ability to put patients at ease in a surgical setting.
A willingness to be flexible and accommodating with your schedule, including understanding that patient care occasionally runs past scheduled close.
