Job summary

ClearChoice Dental Implant Centers in Orlando, FL seeks a Surgical Dental Assistant to support oral surgeons and prosthodontists during implant procedures. You will help maintain a sterile, efficient operatory, assist with anesthesia administration, and ensure patient comfort throughout the surgical process.

The role offers a full-time schedule, competitive hourly pay based on experience and certification, and ongoing training through ClearChoice University.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as Surgical Assistant required.
• Valid certifications meeting state requirements.
• Strong manual dexterity and precision with instruments.
• Commitment to patient safety and high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside assistance to oral surgeons and prosthodontists during procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized treatment area and anticipate clinician needs.
• Assist with administration of local anesthesia, nitrous and IV sedation as applicable.
• Educate patients on pre- and post-operative care and ensure comfort.
• Prepare, sterilize, and set up instruments and trays following infection control protocols.
• Take dental radiographs and prepare materials for impressions as directed.
• Assist with patient record management and medical clearances.
• Support front desk operations by greeting patients and managing supplies.
