Randolph Center for Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery - Hackettstown is seeking an experienced Surgical Assistant to join our fast-paced oral surgery practice. You will prepare the surgical area, assist the surgeon, monitor patient comfort, and maintain sterile technique while keeping detailed records and ensuring OSHA compliance.

Your background should include 3+ years in surgical/dental assisting, a high school diploma, and an accredited surgical assistant certificate (if required by law).

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a surgical assistant with dental assisting experience, oral surgery preferred.
• Excellent patient communication and people skills.
• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods.
• Understand health & safety regulations and OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the surgical area, instruments, and equipment before each procedure.
• Assist the surgeon during procedures by anticipating needs and assisting as required.
• Assist with implant placement, IV sedation cases, and radiographs.
