MAX Surgical Specialty Management LLC is seeking a Surgical Dental Assistant to join our Oral Surgery Group in New Jersey. The role focuses on assisting Oral Surgeons, preparing the treatment room, and maintaining infection control standards to ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, a valid X-ray license, and prior experience in oral surgery settings, with strong organizational and communication skills to support a busy surgical team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid X-ray license is required.
• Previous experience as a dental assistant, particularly in Oral Surgery, is highly desirable.
• Discharge experience is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of oral surgery procedures, instruments, and materials.
• Familiarity with infection control protocols and safety measures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment room, ensure cleanliness and setup.
• Assist Oral Surgeons during surgical procedures and provide instruments as needed.
• Maintain sterile environment and monitor patient vitals and comfort.
• Provide post-operative care instructions and educate patients.
• Manage scheduling, records, and insurance documentation.
