Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health in Burlington, MA is seeking a Surgical Critical Care APP to join a high-acuity ICU team, performing direct patient care for critically ill surgical patients. The role includes managing ventilators, hemodynamics, ECMO, and vasopressors, performing invasive lines and chest tube placements as needed, and rotating between SICU and CTICU.

Night and weekend coverage is required. Excellent critical care training, paid CME/licensing, and a collaborative, APP-friendly

Qualifications

• MA PA license required.
• Must work nights & weekends.
• Preferred: 2+ years critical care, EM, or CT surgery experience; CC fellowship.

Responsibilities

• Direct care for critically ill surgical patients.
• Manage ventilators, resuscitation, hemodynamics, ECMO, vasopressors/inotropes.
• Perform invasive lines and chest tubes as needed.

Nationally recognized 345-bed tertiary hospital

Level 1 Trauma Center

• Two 12-bed Surgical ICUs (SICU & CTICU)
• Collaborative team: 12 APPs, 14 Intensivists, Residents
• Diverse patients: Cardiothoracic, Trauma, Transplant, Neurosurgery

Your Impact:

• Direct care for critically ill surgical patients.
• Manage : Ventilators, resuscitation, hemodynamics, ECMO, vasopressors/inotropes.
• Perform procedures: Invasive lines, chest tubes (based on ability).
• Rotate between SICU & CTICU.

Qualifications:

Pay Range:

$133,120.00 USD - $215,000.00 USD

The pay range listed for this position is the annual base salary range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
