Qualifications

• Excellent understanding of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology and disease processes.
• Experience with direct physician interaction; HFMA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and directs professional and support staff for the Revenue Cycle within budget and quality standards.
• Performs tactical planning and carries out strategic plans; ensures resources for staff.
• Acts as coding subject matter expert for coding staff and multiple departments.
• May require occasional travel.
