Job summary

CommonSpirit Health seeks a Supervisor, Coding to lead the coding team within the Revenue Cycle division. You will oversee daily coding operations, ensure timeliness and accuracy of ICD-9/10, CPT, and HCPCS codes, and drive compliant, optimal reimbursement.

You will supervise and train coders and data entry staff, perform quality reviews and ongoing education, and collaborate with physicians and managers to resolve coding and billing challenges.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required and 1+ year in the discipline; 3+ years if no prior healthcare billing background.
• Certifications CPC, CCS, or RHIA are required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach and train coders and data entry staff.
• Conduct quality reviews and provide education on coding processes.
• Coordinate with physicians and practice managers to resolve coding/billing issues.
