The role requires CPC with at least 2 years of surgical/multi-specialty coding experience; certification in COSC or CIRCC is a plus, and knowledge of Medicare rules is essential. Remote work is approved for several states, including Florida.

Qualifications

• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) required.
• COSC certification preferred.
• CIRCC certification preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of ICD-10 and CPT coding experience in health care settings.

Responsabilités

• Assign ICD-10-CM and CPT codes for patients treated at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and affiliates.
• Apply modifiers to ensure accurate reimbursement and data quality.
• Maintain familiarity with coding guidelines, Medicare rules, and multi-specialty coding practices.
• Attend updates on new coding rules and regulations as needed.
