Mayo Clinic is seeking a Surgical Coder for a hybrid role that combines on-site collaboration with flexible work options. The position requires proximity to Mayo Clinic campuses within 100 miles to support on-site needs based on business requirements.

The Surgical Coder will review professional/physician documentation, code diagnostic and procedural information, and work closely with surgeons to ensure accuracy of coding across surgical cases.

• The Surgical Coder reviews, analyzes, and codes professional/physician medical record documentation to include, but not limited to, medical diagnostic and procedural information for various practices.
• This coder works collaboratively with surgeons to ensure the accuracy of the code sets on the surgical case.

This is a hybrid position and must be located within 100 miles of any of the Mayo Clinic campuses for on-site expectations based on business needs.
