Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking a Hybrid HB Inpatient Coder to join our team. The role requires locating within 100 miles of any Mayo Clinic campus to support on-site expectations based on business needs.

The HB IP Coder will review diagnostic and procedural documentation, translate it into inpatient codes, and escalate provider queries to ensure accurate and complete coding for hospital inpatient claims.

Responsibilities

• The HB IP Coder reviews, interprets, and translates provider medical diagnostic and procedural documentation into appropriate codes following hospital inpatient claims and reporting requirements.
• The HB Inpatient Coder initiates provider queries as needed to support accurate and comprehensive code assignment.
