Alcon, the global leader in eye care, is seeking a Clinical Applications Specialist to support our Surgical Business. You will deliver hands-on clinical training, provide technical support, and educate customers to ensure safe use of our cataract and refractive devices.

You will collaborate with surgeons, operating room staff, sales teams and field service engineers to drive customer satisfaction and patient outcomes, supporting on-site and remote sessions, installations and software upgrades.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Orthoptics or Optometry.
• Minimum 2 years in clinical support, medical devices, healthcare, surgical environments, or related customer-facing technical role.
• Experience delivering training, education or clinical support to healthcare professionals.
• Fluency in the local language; proficiency in English preferred.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide hands-on clinical training and ongoing education to surgeons and operating room staff on Alcon’s cataract and refractive surgical device portfolio.
• Deliver on-site and remote clinical application support, troubleshooting clinical and technical issues and supporting equipment installations and software upgrades with Field Service Engineers and Sales Representatives.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to ensure successful adoption of new technologies and maintain high levels of customer engagement and satisfaction.
• Support medical congresses, workshops, demonstrations, wet labs and educational events while sharing clinical insights for continuous product and service improvement.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and quality standards by documenting site visits, reporting adverse events and device deficiencies, and adhering to GxP and SOPs.
