Job summary

Kaiser Permanente in Portland, Oregon seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the operating room as the circulating nurse. The RN will assist the health care team during the inter-operative phase and coordinate perioperative care with ASC professionals.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of OR circulating experience, an Oregon RN license, and BLS certification. This is a full-time position with Mon-Fri hours and variable start times.

Qualifications

• Two years RN experience in acute care or ambulatory care/clinic within the last five years.
• Two years of circulating experience in inpatient or ambulatory surgery within past five years.
• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• Oregon RN license and BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care during the inter-operative phase and coordinate with ASC professionals.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and organizational records (HIPAA).
• Promote population-based care, continuity of care, and self-care.
• Support and assist the patient and health care team to promote quality care and customer satisfaction.
