Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• Minimum two years of RN experience in acute or ambulatory care within the last five years.
• Two years circulating in inpatient or ambulatory surgery within the past five years.
• Oregon RN license and BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, direct, provide, and evaluate nursing care during the inter-operative phase.
• Monitor and take corrective action to prevent recurring absences.
• Comply with shift, unit, and organizational policies and procedures.
• Participate in clinic and nursing Quality Assurance Programs.
• Maintain confidentiality of all patient and organizational records (HIPAA Standards).
• Utilize assessment data when instituting the plan of care.
• Organize nursing activities efficiently in circulating and scrub roles.
• Evaluate and document patient outcomes.
• Maintain safety in the use of all equipment according to manufacturers' instructions.
• Attend and participate in staff meetings.
