Job summary

Kaiser Permanente in Salem, Oregon is seeking an experienced OR RN Circulator to join the acute care team. The role involves delivering high-quality nursing care in the operating room and ambulatory settings, with on-call scheduling. You will collaborate with team leaders and managers to uphold clinical standards and optimize patient outcomes.

Required are an Oregon RN license and BLS, plus 2+ years in acute/ambulatory care and OR circulating. CNOR/ACLS are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum two (2) years of RN experience in acute care or ambulatory care/clinic setting within the last five (5) years.
• Minimum two (2) years of experience circulating in an inpatient or ambulatory surgery operating room in the past five (5) years.
• RN license in Oregon and BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based, clinically competent nursing care in a culturally sensitive manner.
• Plan, implement, manage, coordinate, and evaluate a plan of care across the care continuum.
• Facilitate member wellness and function, identifying needs for health care interventions.
• Utilize appropriate assessment tools and clinical pathways to manage patient care.
• Perform and modify therapeutic and preventive nursing measures and administer treatments.
• Conduct triage and telephone advice independently within the Nurse Practice Acts.
• Document nursing care provided, demonstrating the nursing process.
• Mentor new staff and assist with orientation and staff development needs.
• Participate in outreach and in-reach activities to meet clinical targets.
• Collaborate with Team Leader and Manager in setting quality standards for nursing care.

Requirements

**Education:**
