Corewell Health in Michigan is seeking a detail-oriented Medical Boarding Coordinator to support the surgical services team. Under general direction, you will board surgical cases and maintain the Surgical Services computer network and database, ensuring accurate data entry and timely information flow.

The role emphasizes coordination between departments, compliance with safety and regulatory requirements, and participation in training of other coordinators.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of relevant experience.
• Two (2) to three (3) years clerical experience in a healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Board surgical cases data and manage related data (address, insurance numbers).
• Maintain Surgical Services computer network and database with fast data entry.
• Coordinate surgical patient information between departments to improve flow.
• Assist in training of other surgical services boarding coordinators and ensure safety/regulatory compliance.
