Job summary

Nebraska Methodist Health System in Omaha, NE, is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to assist surgeons and radiologists, operating C-Arm and imaging equipment. You will promote patient comfort, perform exams, and ensure safety and QA compliance.

The role requires AMA Radiologic Technology training, ARRT certification (or eligibility), and BLS; 1 year radiology experience is preferred. Day shift with weekend/holiday rotation and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT registered or board eligible.
• BLS certification required.
• 1 year radiology experience preferred.
• Current state license RAD.NE or RAD.IA depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care per age-specific criteria and ensure patient comfort and understanding.
• Assist surgeon/radiologist with surgeries and procedures.
• Direct radiographic equipment to obtain optimal visualization of anatomy.
• Document medications and allergies; manage exam management in RIS/PACS workflow.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and adhere to safety and QA standards.
• Collaborate with department team to ensure smooth patient flow and coverage during shifts.
