Job summary

Nebraska Methodist Health System in Omaha is seeking a casual MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic MRI procedures and assist with exams. You will use imaging technology to create high-definition pictures for physician diagnosis and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the process.

The role emphasizes accuracy in imaging, adherence to MRI protocols, and collaboration with Radiology staff. Prior MRI experience is preferred; certification and on-call responsibilities may apply.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an AMA-accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• MRI experience preferred; externship or board eligibility may apply.
• ARRT certification in Radiography and MRI required or eligible.

Responsibilities

• Follow MRI quality control procedures and maintain safety.
• Position patients and operate MRI equipment per protocols.
• Document exams in EMR/RIS using Cerner, PACS, and related systems.
• Educate patients about the exam and magnet safety.
• Collaborate with Radiologists and on-call staff to ensure timely imaging.
