Overview

Pacific Medical, Inc. invites applications for an entry‑level Surgical Associate in the San Francisco area. The role supports the sales effort for Stryker and biologic products, working closely with Territory Managers and Surgical Consultants.

Responsibilities

• Assist Territory Managers in planning, directing, and coordinating the promotion of Stryker/biologic products and conduct sales to physicians.
• Educate doctors, nurses, and staff on the proper use, maintenance, and updates of Stryker and biologic products.
• Tailor promotional messages based on customer knowledge, advise on product selection, and answer technical questions.
• Evaluate products in operating room (OR) and office settings.
• Support trade shows, conventions, and clinical meetings.
• Resolve product problems expediently and maintain sample inventory.
• Adhere to OR, OSHA, GMP, and FDA guidelines and utilize PacMed programs.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years in an outside sales position (medical‑related fields preferred).
• B.A. or B.S. degree required.
• Field sales and in‑house product training completed.
• Computer proficiency and ability to use common office equipment.
• Capability to communicate with large groups and telephonically.
• Physical strength to exert up to 50 pounds occasionally or up to 20 pounds constantly.
• Up to 20% overnight travel annually and valid driver’s license.
• Strong work ethic, entrepreneurial spirit, and self‑driven attitude.

Salary

$55,000.00 – $65,000.00
