Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Assistant (CSA) - NBSTSA/NSAA/NCCSA (required).

Responsibilities

• Performs surgical hand scrub, gowning, and gloving; acts as first/second assistant.
• Maintains sterile technique and checks instruments for readiness.
• Assists with sponge, sharps, and instrument counts per policy.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and follows Universal Protocol.
• Assists with OR case preparation and ensures proper placement in the OR.
• Assists with patient positioning and prepping.
