Qualifications

• Completion of a Surgical Assistant Program is required.
• Certified Surgical Assistant (CSA) - NBSTSA/NSAA/NCCSA is required ( Virginia/Cincinnati preferences may apply).
• One year health care experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs surgical hand scrub, gowning, and gloving according to policy.
• Assists with keeping the sterile field and supplies.
• Monitors patient conditions during treatment and communicates with the team.
• Assists with patient positioning, prepping, and draping.
• Performs circulator-related tasks and suturing assistance under supervision.
