Mayo Clinic is seeking a Certified Surgical Assistant (CSA) to support surgeons across diverse specialties in a busy perioperative environment.

The CSA will assist with suturing, instrument handling, patient positioning and aseptic technique, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient‑centered care. Current NSAA or NBSTSA certification is required or in process.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Surgical Assistant program or equivalent surgical assistant training.
• Certified as a CSA through NSAA or CSFA through NBSTSA.
• Recent operating room experience or training within past 3 years preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist surgeon during procedures and anticipate needs.
• Maintain aseptic technique and perioperative policies.
• Work in a multi‑specialty perioperative setting across multiple surgical disciplines.
