Qualifications

• Graduate of a Surgical Assistant program or NSAA CSA or NBSTSA CSFA certification.
• Experience in operating room within the past 3 years preferred.
• Adapt to unpredictable perioperative situations with patient-centered communication.
• Maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist the surgeon in a multi-specialty perioperative setting.
• Demonstrate knowledge of aseptic technique and perioperative guidelines.
• Anticipate the needs of the surgeon and position patients properly.
• Collaborate with OR team with minimal supervision.
