Job summary

ALLIED OMS NEWCO LLC seeks a motivated Registered Dental Assistant to join its busy specialty office. The candidate must multi-task, anticipate doctors' needs, and provide excellent patient care.

Training is available for the right person to join a team‑oriented practice. Responsibilities include assisting in surgical procedures (local and IV sedation), sterilization, vital signs monitoring, and lab/3D printing work.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current RDA license.
• Valid California X-ray license required.
• BLS certification required.
• Attention to detail and reliability.
• Punctual, friendly, and able to work with patients and staff.
• Ability to commute between Napa and Sonoma locations.
• Minimum 1 year of dental assisting experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures including local and IV sedation.
• Sterilization and tray setup.
• Take and monitor vital signs and patient recovery.
• Knowledge of medical emergency protocol and post‑ops.
• Lab/3D printing work and organizing supplies.
• Other duties as needed shared amongst the assistants.

Position Summary:

A well-established, busy specialty office is looking for a highly motivated RDA to join or team. You must be a team-player who is looking for a great opportunity and long-term employment. We are looking for a professional person who is able to multi-task, use time efficiently, and always be one step ahead by anticipating the doctor’s needs. Our practice is committed to providing excellent patient care and is looking for someone who shares this same objective. We are willing to train the right candidate.

Requirements

We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:

• Current RDA license
• Valid California X-ray license
• Current BLS certification
• Takes pride in attention to detail
• Punctual and reliable on a daily basis
• Friendly and outgoing personality, with both patients and fellow staff
• Ability to commute and work in both Napa and Sonoma locations
• Minimum of 1 year dental assisting experience

Qualifications not necessary but a plus:

• Previous oral surgery experience
• OMSA certificate
• Dental Anesthesia Assistant Permit (through Dental Board of CA)
• Emergency procedures - identification and treatment
• Familiar with dental/oral surgery software - DSN preferred
• Computer savvy, able to type 35 wpm
• Ability to read, speak, and write Spanish fluently and clearly

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
